I generally prefer Y_post ~ Z + Y_pre too, but many of my colleagues in clinical psychology would prefer the rhetorical framing of Y_post - Y_pre ~ Z + Y_pre. To each their own.
Postu gösterYou can also use the difference as the outcome and control for pre, as in difference ~ tx + pre. In the simple OLS paradigm, it returns the same regression coefficient (and the same SE) for tx as post ~ tx + pre.
