Pleased to announce that my silly TikToks about AI are now officially *major award winning* silly TikToks about AI. :) Thanks to @scicommexcellence.nationalacademies.org for this award but also for helping legitimize/incentivize science communication! www.nationalacademies.org/news/nationa...
Postu gösterDoesn't it bug you when a keynote speaker uses AI to structure their stream of consciousness, then shows you an incoherent/unedited slide deck you paid $800 to see? Is this a new norm? #emnlp2026
Postu gösterAs I discussed with Brendan elsewhere, we always control for pretreatment. When you do that it doesn't matter whether the outcome is change or post, it's mathematically identical. But I think using the change scores the outcome is conceptually clearer for a lot of readers.
Postu gösterCool work! One question I have is whether this would hold for products that already have an established "relationship" with the person, e.g. Muse AI (which I have concerns about). Also, no comparison with human strangers? I also don't know if I would accept such language from someone I don't know.
Postu gösterSuper interesting work!
