crazy how this is the movie ever
Postu gösterwatching it with someone who’s experiencing it blind really brings you back to your own first time, which is fascinating in a thematic sense. you inevitably fear they might not like it but the enormity of what you’re watching is just overwhelming at every junction
Postu gösterHere's another example of the isolated sound design from #monkeywrench ep 6: Busted Nuts. For both the voice acting and the sound design, we wanted it to sound excruciating. Sounds of crumpling tin cans, sizzling bacon, aggressively distorted synths, a grenade explosion, and splatter-y gore.
Postu gösterCrowd shots, especially large establishing shots of crowds are an utter pain in the ass to animate and storyboard. However they're essential to help your world feel actually lived in. It's very worth the pain, trust me.
