Shocker. Maybe Melania didn’t actually negotiate the Oleshky ceasefire through shrewd diplomacy. Russia and Ukraine just came up with the idea to give her the credit. Apparently, they don't want it to look like they can reach such agreements without a mediator.

"Støtter fredsforhandlinger med Rusland" er IKKE en særlig position i debatten. Alle ønsker fred. Ukraine har igen og igen inviteret til forhandling. Den særlige position lader til at være, Ukraine skal kapitulere og give Rusland hvad de ønsker. Så det bør hedde "Støtter Ukraines overgiver sig".
