    Incredibly sad to hear the news that we lost Marta Shahbazi in the train accident in Madrid. Marta was always an inspiration back when we studied biology in uni, and has been an exceptional researcher since. She was traveling to receive the prize from the Spanish dev society. How is this possible..

    Truly saddened by these news, so hard to accept for our scientific community in developmental biology. Marta was a generous and vibrant collaborator, a pioneer of #SCBEMs, who always offered help when needed. Both will be missed...my condolences to their friends and family.
