Ver postNice knock. Two cheap things that made hits feel heavier for me: a 40-80 ms hit stop (Engine.time_scale to ~0.05, restored by a timer created with ignore_time_scale=true), and shake strength = trauma squared so small hits stay subtle and big ones kick.
