    I added some options into the standalone version of Dovvee's ReQuest! Things like palette swapping, volume, and the ability to boot into older versions. The menu is running in Godot (with GodotBoy) but the game is a real Game Boy ROM made in GBStudio. #GameDev #IndieDev #GBStudio #Godot #GameBoy

    Working in both #Godot (with GodotBoy) and #GBStudio simultaneously on the same game is kind of stressful, not going to lie! It's all working but my brain just isn't equipped to have two engines running at the same time while swapping between them constantly. 😅 #GameDev

    Thanks to the memory tools that GodotBoy provides, I've made a way to transfer save files between game versions! This means that, if an updated version releases, the player can update their save file and not be stuck on an older, buggier version! #GameDev #GameBoy
