We’ll have to find out what happens tomorrow, but things aren’t looking good for the Republicans. Few people were even turning up to see Trump. And his approval keeps taking a dive, and he’s been desperate to try to fix what is coming.

Yes there are a lot of things people are mad about, it’s hard to list them all. But the big one that is mentioned first is inflation or affordability. And so much of that is tied to price of fuel and before that Trump’s tariffs. And the price of fuel is high because of Trump’s war with Iran.

And look, do Americans care about other issues? Yes. But you also need to prioritize your needs. If you can’t feed your kids or pay rent, it’s hard to think about anything else. It’s part of why Trump got elected. They believed Trump when he said he could make things more affordable. He lied.

So everyone is mad at Trump and the high fuel prices. So he starts trying to blame Ukraine. He did that in September. The US has plenty of refining capacity. That’s not the issue. It’s the Strait of Hormuz. Even Russia pointed out that it was the reason for high oil prices.
