  We've also had a hell of a time with sites (including things like HMRC) requiring 2FA. Which I get it, it's more secure, but also is a colossal pain in the ass for people who don't have phones, or who struggle with technology.

  Like hey, my mum is in her 70s! She has an old smartphone of mine which she does not use except to text and call if she's travelling and has no interest in using otherwise, even if it could still get updates. Why should she be required to use a phone app when the website worked fine???

  I really hate this push to have everything require an app. Barclays has decided that online banking can only be done on the phone app now! Which fucks over anyone who doesn't have a smartphone! Or who has an old phone they don't want to upgrade! Fucking stupid system.
