  This is stunningly terrible. Atthis Arts isn’t a professional, reliable, or respectable publisher. They are mercurial bullies. The great work by great people they have published is only cover for their awful business practices and juvenile personal grudges.

  Atthis Arts is a modern day vanity press with a sideline in badly publishing other people’s books that are better than Emily’s and should be taken exactly that seriously and dismissed exactly that quickly.

  I'm not an Atthis Arts author, and Emma doesn't ask for this, and publishing is a dream you spend decades crawling over rocks to get to, but I would feel a moral obligation to cut ties with Atthis over this if I had any. We can't let publishers, even tiny ones, treat a fellow author like this.

  No publisher should ever treat an author like Atthis Arts did @slashnburnett.bsky.social. Emily and Chris Bell should be ashamed. BTW, Ex Partum is an excellent book and on my short list for next year's award nominations. But b/c Atthis Arts unpublished the book, people now can't read it. SMDH
