Investigating some birding possibilities E of Charmouth this morning, in vicinity of Stonebarrow and Chardown Hills. From the sheltered base of the hedge in this pic I flushed a Woodcock. Brief but sunlit views, best I've had of this species in years! Promising...😁 #DorsetBirds

Fogged off yesterday for my VisMig public guided watch. Today stunning weather - typical! West Bay 26 species inc. 51,000 Woodpigeon, 990 Stock Dove, 1082 Chaffinch, 720 Goldfinch, 380 Linnet, 345 Starling, 206 Fieldfare, Yellow Wagtail!
