I agree EVs are less bad cars. Self-driving cars are a solution to a false problem. The solution to traffic is fewer cars, not different kinds of cars. There would be zero investment in self-driving cars if there was viable public transportation between Silicon Valley and San Francisco.

The problem with self-driving cars is they're still cars. The problem isn't drivers. The problem is traffic.
