    The only thing I find helpful is trying to pick the right battles. Some things have to be challenged, others can be left until another day. Reminding myself its a marathon not a sprint. And good social care makes a big difference but it's such a lottery.

    Things I will miss. Sent out learning plans - child had said what they love most is their hamster called Peanut. Message from parent - Thankyou for plan- btw they have no hamster called peanut. In fact they have never had a hamster. Has amused staff all afternoon 😂😂😂

    I was horrified that, as a girl, I was required to wear a skirt on starting secondary school. So I started a petition to allow trousers, and after collecting several hundred signatures knocked on the head’s office door one lunchtime and presented it. The uniform was changed by Easter.
