    i never looked too deep into zeztz but when the zeztz suit got revealed I immediately thought it looked like a modern(derogatory) and overdesigned mix of ichigo and kuuga

    i think its leaning way too heavily on like Sleek Modernity in an attempt to click with the Cool Mysterious Spywork but god did it just Not work for me. i was cheering my little head off when myth's suits dropped and it felt like they actually looked like something again

    I'm trying to think of another rider that didn't really have a cohesive theming like that. I know it's vaguely "dreams" but there's not much about their suits that reflects that.

    You know, I think this is probably why I don't like the look of the Zeztz suits very much in Kamen Rider. They don't look like... anything really, which given it was the first rider livestreamed in English....

    After 8 weeks, I think I've come to the conclusion that I'm far more invested in Sora's character in Kamen Rider My-th than I ever was with Baku's in Zeztz. This isn't a dig at Baku as a character or Yuya Takahashi's writing, Naruhisa Arakawa is just great at making relatable protagonists.
