    My home county went all red; but the county where I have my office and do most of my business (Lowndes) went for Ossoff. By 62 votes. GOP won the other statewide races by 5 to 7 points. Trump won in Lowndes by 18 points in 2024. Our GOP mayor publicly endorsing Ossoff made a huge difference.

    I had a thread about this but it may be lost now, but as a political scientist (and this article) pointed out to me, per Arrow's Impossibility Theorem and Gibbard's theorem, ranked choice systems cannot guarantee that spoiler-like effects will not happen. pubs.aip.org/physicstoday...
