    It’s really funny how they just completely disregard the agency that games committees have in the process, lol. Like, if any runner submits, they ain’t getting in unless the committee thinks they’ll put on a good showcase, leaderboards aside, and having a WR isn’t a pass to get accepted for free

    lmao as the guy at PAX East who did the “beginner friendly Dark Souls Any%” run on the GDQ Stage I have a lot of opinions about this. but I’ll just say being the ambassador to a game/speedrun should be about inclusivity and inspiring new runners to try the game… rancid vibes on that suggestion
