Thanks! I suppose the family has never been covered in a RES Handbook? (www.royensoc.co.uk/publications...). Incidentally, I came across a PDF of d'Assis Fonseca’s old key from 1965, which must of course be significantly outdated. zenodo.org/records/1074...

Not necesserily. It is more an issue of interpretation. Trends from sites starting at different levels of degradation aren’t directly comparable. Anchor each site to a reference condition and the patterns become much clearer.
