UK. Mostly here for film chat. Because trashy movies are always fun. I care about accessibility, so no 'Likes' on posts with no image Alt text. he/him https://linktr.ee/arghzombies

We figured this out with forum moderation in the early 90s. If you've got one person posting fifty threads a day about themselves, you tell them to knock that shit off. It's spam. If they refuse, you ban them and they spend the next thirty years cursing you from a cave.

Even if someone wasn't using AI, you don't want one user submitting 500 files a month. It completely breaks the ability for shoppers to browse and find anything, and they're not even buying any part of the flood. It's to the benefit of literally no one to allow that.

The amount of zero-effort AI asset packs/swaps on every video game digital store looks overwhelming, but if you actually take a look it's a very small number of people publishing them. All of the worst shit on the Switch and PS store comes from about a dozen publishers. Just ban them for spam.
