Why the hell should I stress myself out about all the "right" ways to do things, when I can just be making the damn thing the way I wanna see it happen? "Don't waste time with these details" Okay, well maybe the person writing this wanted to read a book that explored those details! And that's fine!

And it helped me realize something... Worrying about "getting it right" is just gonna keep you from even trying. There will always be an audience (and critics) for what you make. And maybe the whole damn point is to just make something the way you want.

Recently went down a bit of a rabbit hole for writing advice, and at this point, I just need to stop watching that stuff and do my own thing. Waaay too much "content" that baits engagement, pushes opinions as facts, and tries too hard to reinvent things.
