i tutor adult literacy as well and it's the bomb, so i know people can like Do It. just makes me more flummoxed at school when i'm like. ok well i don't know how to teach you how to learn. more people should spend 32947 hours trying to paint tea candles against a wall of tin foil, i guess.

interesting part of this is i dodge the same pitfalls my classmates (many ages) have now in a totally different field. they're objectively smarter than me but the total lack of ability to recognize something as a process combined with the belief there's a Right Answer takes them out at the knees
