    But if he’s the caucus leader, then his JOB is to not make obvious, stupid mistakes like supporting bad Senate candidates when others are available. Come TF on. Schumer is a failure in the ways even his DEFENDERS hold up. for the sake of the country, Schumer needs to go.

    I would like Schumer to do more: to lead publicly, to stop spam and scam PACs using his bully pulpit, to build a better comms infrastructure in the Senate, to criticize the NYT‘s pro-Trump bias. Schumer defenders don’t think he should do any of that. “he‘s just the caucus leader” they say

    Schumer’s one job as even he sees it is to protect the Senate Dem caucus. If he couldn’t do his due diligence to find out that Haley Stevens was unstable, then he is not fit to run the caucus.

    Two things about the Haley Stevens saga: 1. House Democrats MUST kick her out of the caucus, which will end her career as both a politician and a pundit, and thus discourage future frauds. 2. Chuck Schumer endorsed her. We cannot tolerate his bad judgment further. He has to go.
