One thing the internet has taught me is that many people really, really cannot read. They know word meanings and understand the thrust of a sentence, but only that: it’s like they see the individual words and extrapolate the probable meaning from whatever associations the sentence evokes for them.

Yeah I've heard from quite a few LGBT people in the last couple days who are distraught at the amount of destruction caused by these people and their horrific bullying-for-sport. But unfortunately it's just going to continue until people get over their fear of being targeted, and push back
