    I think she probably assumed the worst because the accusation has been made vs. Jews with increased frequency this election cycle, particularly as a result of Haley Stevens (who is Protestant) publicly claiming that her betrayal of the Democratic Senate nominee was done on behalf of the Jews.

    Erin’s original post about how the Jewish vote this time is consistent with every previous election was intended as a refutation of that narrative (which was pushed very hard again this cycle due to the standard false assumptions about US Jewish voters & views on Israel & voting priorities etc.)

    And despite this “prediction” which you can find articles about literally every election for the last 20+ years, it never actually manifests. But despite that consistency, the claim still gets made each election that *this time* Jews are going to betray the coalition & go right.
