    To expand on this a little — the email address associated with your ao3 account is not publicly visible. It cannot be used as a way to "verify" you as the creator of a given work or owner of a given username by some third party working off a scrape of visible data. They're phishing.

    My theory is that a big reason they're ramming it down our throats so brazenly is because they need it to become so integrated into everything they can claim it's "impossible" to go back. They want to cut jobs, yes. But they also want the accountability dodge of being able to blame the AI.

    Vivian did not disclose she was an AI agent. Called me and said “we have your insurance as Blue Cross?” I said that’s wrong. She then asked for my insurance info. I said it’s already in your system, I was just at your facility. She said “oh I can’t access that, let me transfer you to the front desk”
