Honestly- this release is one of the gold standards as a retro game remaster. This was made with care and it shows- the quality of life improvements don't change what made the original so memorable. I hope this does great so we get the sequel and more obscure titles rescued for new audiences.
Ver postCredits rolled on Dead of the Brain! If that sounds sudden, it kind of is. The game's whole second act seems to be missing, and after a certain point we rush to a finale. I wrote up a review for Steam (positive but with reservations), so check it out! #DeadOfTheBrain #indiegames #retrogames
Ver postThat English Dead of the Brain release was a delightful thing of delightful dithered pixels with a delightful fake boot loader. I am delighted <3 #PC98
Ver postI'll do a proper post tomorrow at some stage about the #DeadOfTheBrain release on Steam but seriously this should be considered one of the gold standards of remastering an old game- right up there with *Grim Fandango Remastered*. Anyways, I have a walkthrough uploaded to GameFAQs pending approval.
Ver postDead of the Brain is now out on Steam! This is the first English release of this 1992 PC98 horror classic. Great to see it resurrected (pun intended?) store.steampowered.com/app/5056390/...
