  An idea I shouldn't spend the time to grow is a "credible signals" website (built on ATProto?), that is what the econ job market does, for everything: you get only K signals you can send, and the scarcity makes it valuable. Mor suggests something similar here bsky.app/profile/info...

  When you switch chatbots, you should be able to take your data with you. But right now, you mostly can't. My colleagues at @cdt.org built their own data portability tool, "Selective Memory", to locally process and select the chats you want to keep. If they can build it, surely companies can too.

  What I love about this job is the variety: In the morning I counsel students worried about keeping up with AI In the afternoon I meet collaborators so we can plan how to keep up with AI And then to relax, in the evening, I catch up on articles about human peer reviewers failing to keep up with AI
