    Like I'd write to one and they'd reply to say that they were no longer the lead governor. So I'd write to the one who was and he'd ignore it for 6 months and then they moved who was lead governor around so they didn't have to deal with the concerns.

    And the reason for that was because a large number of the governors were evangelical christians. Almost certainly none of the people that put them into those positions had any idea. And then they did stupid shit to try and not deal with concerns.

    You'd think the governors would get rid of them once they realised some batshit stuff was going on, one of them even admitted in writing that they had serious concerns, but there was no way to shift them.

    True story. Quite a long time ago we locked horns with a right wing christian group that was part of a 'church planting' operation by an American multinational. They'd managed to ingratiate themselves with the governing body of a local primary school where they met.

    And religious people are bad for inserting themselves into jobs where they can have control over people - medicine, nursing and teaching are particularly popular, also school governing bodies.
