Motorola reached out to us to enable support & bring up their devices to meet requirements. Pixel devices will continue to be supported where they can be. Having more than one option is beneficial to us for obvious reasons, we've constantly been available to any OEM wanting to do the same as Moto.

This is their flagship. My understanding is that grapheneos is going to support other Motorola phones as well. You still have the option to use a pixel phone.

GrapheneOS already uses the Linux kernel, as does Android and the Android Open Source Project. 10th gen pixels currently use the 6.6 LTS branch though, so GrapheneOS is updating them to the 6.18 LTS branch
