Top of the line, every piece of debris from every explosion lands on the ground in its own little cloud tuft, I am not kidding if you're a pixel artist you need to study Raiden
Ver postWelp, after some matrix fun (forgot I need to divide by W) I got planar shadows to kinda work, but they have unacceptable sorting errors. I'm going to let it percolate but my thinking is to clip the (static) shadows against the terrain triangles at load time, or offline. #gamedev
