Agreed! This is total BS by people who know -0- about aviation. And of course, these "experts" jump on the woman because.....why? My daughter has a friend who is a Captain w/ United Airlines. She has thousands of hours in flight and is an instructor today at United. Women can fly safely.

I’ll be 60 in about a month, and it’s so amazing to me that this young adult remained on post doing her duty until the last split second. I doubt even one of the men criticizing her would’ve done the same. I know I wouldn’t have been able to.

The NTSB said “some evidence that the aircraft started to break up” In the video it appears the horizontal stabilizer is missing. This would mean they lost the control surface that controls pitch (up/down) and would help explain why the plane came straight down. Pilot said “overspeed”, pos cause.
