My guess is that it would be dependent on the exact language of the contract for the license and who it is attributed to besides Marvel. Whether that is Arkane or MSFT is obviously not clear, but my bet is that it'd probably be MSFT.

That said, I worry this still kills the Blade game because I don't think Take-Two inherits the license. I might be wrong though. I don't know how the law works in this regard. Either way though, it's a positive sign that the studio isn't going to be shuttered. That's the bigger story for me.

And Take-Two is the only one I'd trust tbh. They do scummy stuff, but Zelnick is otherwise someone who is in favor of creative freedom and has mostly left Rockstar to do whatever they want. I can't see why/how he wouldn't allow similar for things like Arkane.

Well, looking at what Paramount is doing with their games division rn I don't see much changing there now that they have WB Games. It's going to be more of the disorganization that we've seen before and licensed IP games.
