It's where juggling multiple clients is handy! Doing a step on one, sending them off then go to the next that I'm never waiting. However, I also try to limit my WIP-checks, and when I get feedback, I push forward instead of check back in for changes.
Ver postExample: I send a wip sketch to a client. They ask for a leg to be adjusted, or expression change- I will continue the process WITH the change. So I'll do lineart with the change, THEN I do another check. After that, I color/finish the comm(+any more changes), then see how the client reacts!

Ver postAWH I'm so glad you are noting it down and find it good advice!! I've been doing art full time for juuust about 6 years, so I am hopefully doing something right haha! One other piece of advice I wanna share is- Your clients need time, too. Rushing them ultimately rushes yourself.
