yeah it's probably best to wait it out. i don't see Ableton getting Linux support anytime soon and having a lot of the plugins you've bought not working on a Linux based system would be really annoying too

also because it's got something of a steep learning curve if you're gonna be doing audio stuff but there are distros out there that come configured and set up for this (which do make it considerably easier)

I've been using it as my daily driver for almost as long as I've been using computers. if you're doing audio production though, I wouldn't recommend hard switching because Linux hasn't got support for a lot of plugins. Reaper works great though
