Ha! I helped defeat the 1994 one, in Anchorage no less (that was a kick in the head). But I was only 19 in 1978 and too stupid to know the difference between a bond proposal and a policy ballot measure — the $966 bond and the FRANK initiative. Voters rejected the bond but approved the latter.

tbh, i'm getting why the division of elections waits to do the rcv tabulation. the early breakdowns are interesting, but the insight, as far as trying to divine how the statewide races will go, feels like saying, "well, if we stopped counting ballots today, it'd go this way" but with more steps.
