  Arguably, the new frontier lies in using nonlinear dynamics and complex systems to predict the probability of injury emergence. But as someone who has done some nonlinear injury-prediction modeling and research, I've found that even those methods fall short, especially without high-fidelity data.

  Agree there is some interesting stuff in there. It’s not yet a serious offer but it’s at least not wildly unserious in every way either. It does seem like there is a real push to ‘help’ cheaper players at the expense of the stars, which would be consistent with owners pushing low risk strategies.

  Another of the wildest "past is a foreign country" things I've noticed from 1992 is how often UNSOLVED MYSTERIES episodes have updates that "within minutes of air", they get reports solving those queries. Like, that UNSOLVED MYSTERIES had such a profound, active viewership that it happens A LOT
