I have ancestors from Norway and Ireland and Denmark as well as England but this doesn’t mean I have any right to ‘return’ to these countries after a 1000 years. Of course my ancestors didn’t get a message from ‘God’ out of a burning bush giving me a chunk of land to claim whenever I decided to.

Yes. And I’ve read that Zionism is something within the Jewish communities that is polarizing. So it’s like they’re getting crap from both inside and outside their communities because of Zionism. 😔

That’s exactly right, the hateful messages being spouted by members of Netanyahu’s government have been responsible for increasing anti semitism and making the lives of decent Jewish people more difficult.

You’re right to make the distinction between the Israeli government and a people. It seems to me, an outside observer, that Zionist propaganda runs the risk of blurring that distinction.
