    This is why ABC's reinstatement of Kimmel isn't enough for me (although it's a good start). They should also threaten to drop any affiliate that preempts the show. Sinclair's contract with ABC is up for renewal next year.

    This isn't just old fashioned either, it's simply the physical reality of the world. You can send a million emails, and they all go into a big inbox and can be ignored. But imagine a thousand physical letters showing up. That's bags and bags of mail. Suddenly, you've created a memorable event.

    One point I would add: When you write a letter to complain, don't do it electronically. Corporations do not care about those, at all. Write an actual letter, and send it in the mail, with a stamp. One physical letter is like a MILLION electronic comments. Getting physical mail FREAKS THEM OUT.
