  we can't appear in anything, but we can't even fix something up on our own terms, for our own folk, without it becoming an invitation to hurt us, and another angle of attack. when're all these fools gonna at least stop posturing about it and just say it all out loud.

  it really is demoralizing that if you are black/trans/etc and your demographic is in a work, you're a devil trying to infect all that you touch. you should just make your own thing! if you actually do make your own thing, this is ALSO terrible, for reasons that depend on the day of the week
