I have been collecting CDs and downloading music using Bandcamp, the Internet Archive, YT-DLP and more since 2024, when I left Spotify because of the Car Thing debacle. I even have an MP3 player again. I honestly recommend it, it's a wonderful hobby. Local > Streaming (if you can).

Ver postI bought a nice $50 designated mp3 player with the walkman aesthetic so I can go on walks or go to the gym and leave my phone in my bag or at home to not need spotify. Plus, god, while i appreciate the convenience of having music on my phone I REALLY like devices
