    Queen's Domain also is a big enough game for all those new systems and ideas to breathe. There's a big mechanical shift that happened for me around the 20 hour mark, and then around 26-ish, the game's general structure shifts too. I'm still being challenged too despite constant power escalation.

    To me, it feels like they very intentionally took that old FromSoft template and used it as the foundation. It's sturdy, it's reliable, it's not to be changed. And then they built a house on it that grew into a multi-layered megadungeon.
