like not only is this really stupid as far as economic help for people, and also working with the fascists is bad, but the fed gas tax already hasnt kept with inflation and cost of road maintenance for like 20 plus years. cutting more would only exacerbate road maintenance funding inssues

Ver postWould have had to pass it through the legislature and get 5 county agreement first. Doesn’t seem like it would have been possible on such a short timeline. Scott Wiener and his team worked absolute magic, getting 5 counties to agree on RTM was very challenging.
