  That film left me more motivated than ever. I cannot accept children being killed with technology built by people who get to go home to their own. We have to change the course of history. We have to fight harder, and I’m willing to dedicate my life to this.

  I need software engineers, privacy attorneys and ethical hackers to help us go after the surveillance infrastructure itself. Expose who supplies it, challenge its use in court and fight to get the contracts cancelled. We have to make it harder for them to keep doing this.

  Sometimes it feels like we’re building band-aid solutions around something that needs to be ripped out at the root. People need protection now, but I don’t want to spend my life helping them hide while leaving the people responsible untouched.
