Often they project an air of true disdain for these silly people wanting them to follow “legislations”. These are the ugliest, nastiest, most arrogant Canadians that we can find. 2/

    I don’t begrudge anyone or Corp from making a profit, in fact I expect them to so that they can stay in business. What I do object to is how corporation repeatedly break laws, lie, price-fixing, cheat on taxes or the actual weight of some meat and have nothing but contempt for Canadians. /2

    Carney's new "Grocery Code of Conduct" is a toothless completely voluntary measure that grocery chains can choose whether or not to opt into or obey. Because blindly trusting them to do the right thing ... works great? Grocers have already said It'll make no difference. 12/ shrlnk.ca/s/Ap8OlY5c

    Then those same farmers are screwed again by the grocery giants. Instead of selling their crops to a highest bidder, they're forced to take whatever lousy deal is offered by the only bidder, a monopsony with a stranglehold on purchasing their farm outputs. 11/ shrlnk.ca/s/Aj3ddfwj
