    It’s extremely ironic that an anti-trans initiative failed in red Missouri, but they passed in blue Washington and Colorado. Ironic and enraging. If the politicians who got elected last night do not protect the rights of trans people, what the hell is the point in any blue wave?

    I’m freaking out at 6am because of the fucking ballot measures. This is going to show the Dems that 1) anti-trans messaging doesn’t hurt them and 2) the political consensus is against us. Blue Wave don’t matter shit if they give up on us. I’m really really scared.

    It's cool that a bunch of pro-trans candidates won in red states and whatnot but trans people are caught in this impossible position where we are a symbol more than we are a concern. We're a specter to invoke for whatever a side wants want to signal, but our concerns and actual lives are secondary.
