    I will bundle up sample scenes, and expand my ongoing document, but if anyone is looking for the basics of #Lightwave 2026 volumetric lights, here are settings. The gradient controls colour along the beam, and the projection image produces the rays along the beam. More noise, stronger rays.

    Spectacular cloudage above the Surrey Hills today. Cirrocumulus in bands converging towards the horizon, composed of supercooled water droplets producing spectacular iridescence through diffraction. Virga trails of heavier ice crystals drifted down where the water droplets froze spontaneously.
