My first Great White Egret for the park at Weald CP today. Flew over, looked like it might stop but carried on to the north. Other highlights: Kingfisher, Siskin, Little Grebe, Raven and at least 25 Linnet feeding in a Crow Green field. #essexbirding #patchbirding

2 weeks after it arrived, Barra's 1st Great Crested Grebe is still on Loch Ob: maybe it'll winter here! Today also produced another wave of Redwings, a few Woodcock, Bramblings, Blackcaps and Chiffchaffs around the island and surprisingly 2 late Willow Warblers at Bruernish. #BirdingScotland

Strong easterlies producing decent variety with 57 White-fronted Geese, Sooty Shearwater, Long-tailed Duck, Short-eared Owl in-off and four lovely Snow Buntings, one of which favoured under the cliff. Mostly all welcome #PWC2026 additions at King George Park #kentbirding @kentishplover.bsky.social

There were three very pale Siberian Chiffchaffs at Towerhill, Peterhead yesterday. There was also a darker one that called like a tristis. Photos of one of the pale ones and the darker one. #birdingscotland
