In #MathsToday, Year 10 did some Pie Charts, including some pie chart puzzles from: www.stem.org.uk/resources/li... And Year 8 did some 'Best Buy'ing. I also had a nice conversation about methods for factorising non-monic quadratics. #TeamGrid

I do find it incredible that MPs and councillors are not required to have an enhanced DBS check. Our preschool committee members have to get one and the role doesn't involve any direct contact with the children.

In #MathsToday, to kick off the new half term, Y8 did some recipe calculations, Y13 solved some coupled differential equations, Y10FM multiplied some matrices, and in form time, we thought hard about Venn diagrams while doing today's allsome.app, made by @critikid.bsky.social.
