  Portland City Councilor Sameer Kanal has proposed a ban on tear gas in Portland. It comes before council today. Portland Police will present in opposition of the ban despite the serious harm tear gas can cause. Many aren’t aware of the impact tear gas can have, especially people with uteruses.

  Even better, if the hold-up is that it's me then I would love to see a resolution without my name on it, brought forward asap, as long it makes a call on the state for resources. Because without that we are asking the school board for an unsupported pause and to avoid addressing our disparities.
