Education was a much larger predictor for white voters than gender or age. Dems seem afraid of talking about education as inherently good or bettering (as opposed to servicing narrow economic ends) out of fear of sounding elitist. Limiting access to education is elitist, but valuing it is not.

The argument for doing this is workload, but it's a terrible argument because if you expand out the one sentence of information you need to send to several paragraphs, you're increasing everyone's workload
