Mostra postThese numbers are very realistic for me. I get anywhere from dozens to hundreds of emails a day and I've run 20-30k unread emails regularly, for years. Once I took 3 weeks JUST TO DO EMAIL and got my inbox down to about 2500k unread messages... and within a few months was right back up there again.
Mostra postA good solution would be that we send fewer e-mails, not that we turn all communication into “my robot sends nonsense to your robot” ad infinitum.
Mostra postWell this particular colleague uses it to triage emails and organize his inbox, I think, along with drafting messages when responses are needed. I can see the former being useful — I lose messages in the flood all the time. But the flood is a problem and robots aren’t the solution.
